Spiritual Awakening or Going Crazy? Understanding Spiritual Crisis and How to Ground Your Ascension
In this accelerated era of spiritual awakening many people are reporting what feels like “spiritual psychosis” - intense, confusing insights flooding through, a sense of losing one’s grip on ordinary reality, and questioning whether one is going “crazy.” What’s really happening is often a rapid integration of high-frequency spiritual information, a jump in consciousness that the ego cannot immediately contain. Because we live inside the demands of 3D systems (jobs, capitalism, social expectations), the dissonance becomes overwhelming. Loved ones often don’t understand, or may even pathologize what is happening. You, however, are not broken, you’re evolving.
In transpersonal psychology this phenomenon is sometimes called a spiritual emergency (or spiritual crisis).
